Numerous studies on the portrayal of minorities in world cinema show that a stereotypical way of representing them still prevails. Although no similar research has been carried out in relation to Polish cinema, it is reasonable to assume that the conclusions would be similar. During the panel discussion, we will therefore try to reflect on how contemporary Polish cinema portrays minorities. Is a stereotypical approach really dominant or are filmmakers trying to portray minorities in a complex way?
