FESTIVAL CONFERENCE

Today, a programme conference for this year’s edition of the Łódź of Many Cultures Festival was held in Survivors’ Park in front of the Dialogue Centre building. The following people took part in it:

  • Małgorzata Moskwa-Wodnicka – Deputy Mayor of the City of Łódź,
  • Kamila Majchrzycka-Szymańska, acting director of the Marek Edelman Dialogue Center in Łódź
  • Marcin Tercjak, music curator of the Łódź of Many Cultures Festival
  • Joanna Podolska, curator of the Łódź of Many Cultures Festival
  • Aneta Dalbiak, Director of the Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź
  • Kinga Nguyễn, artist

Marcin Tercjak announced who will perform at the final concert at Monopolis – it will be the German group Monika Roscher Bigband. The band consists of eighteen musicians led by guitarist, vocalist and composer Monika Roscher – an artist who boldly and charismatically redefines the concept of a jazz orchestra. Their concerts are sonic sabbaths, combining symphonic precision, metal edge, jazz erudition and feminist energy. Tickets on sale from today!
