OPEN STUDIOS ON KOLOROVA
Workshops
The event takes place in four neighbouring venues – each studio has prepared its own programme, and participants are free to move between them.
What is it about?
‘Open Studios on Kolorowa’ is a unique afternoon full of art, relaxation and meetings in intimate creative spaces at 19 Gdańska Street – one of the most artistic addresses in Łódź. As part of the Multicultural Festival, studios, galleries and creative spaces will open their doors, inviting visitors to discover, experiment and talk together.
Participants can look forward to:
– ceramics workshops entitled ‘My form, my identity’ at the
Bottega da Kris
– a joint artistic activity entitled ‘Create your colour’ at the
Fulfillment Art Gallery
– a mindfulness meeting at the
Ikigai Head Spa
– an open studio by designer
Milena Łojek with textile displays and a weaving workshop
By whom?
The event features local artists, craftspeople and creators associated with Kolorowa – an initiative bringing together independent art studios in Łódź:
- Justyna Cieślik Dąbrowska i Marcin Dąbrowski – twórcy Fulfillment Art Gallery
- Krzysztof Krajewski – ceramic artist and owner of Bottega da Kris
- Agnieszka Krzywiecka – originator and creator of Ikigai Head Spa
- Milena Łojek – textile artist and clothing designer
During the event, the new
PAJ bakery is also inviting visitors to visit, offering a 10% discount on the slogan ‘Łódź Festival of Many Cultures’.
FOR WHOM
For everyone who wants to get to know Łódź’s creative scene from the inside – visit artists’ studios, touch materials, talk, relax and slow down for a moment.
For lovers of art, design, craftsmanship and the aesthetics of everyday life.
For those who like to discover places with soul.
Why is it worth it?
Because ‘Open Studios on Kolorova’ is more than just a walk through an artistic tenement house. It is an encounter with art in its most authentic form – where it is created, smelling of clay, paint and jasmine tea.
This is an opportunity to create your own colour, mould something out of clay, learn how to weave, immerse your hands in water during a head spa massage, and meet people for whom creativity is a way of life.
It is an invitation to a world where diversity, mindfulness, and creativity form the common fabric of the city.
Availability
The studios are located on the first floor of the building, accessed via stairs. There is no lift or disabled toilets.
Public car park along Gdańska Street.
Nearby tram stops: Gdańska/Legionów, Gdańska/Próchnika
