Trade Fair of Many Cultures | Festival Center

The Trade Fair of Many Cultures will feature creators from various geographic regions, countries, and cities, as well as local artists and artisans representing different cultures, not just ethnic ones.

We have invited creators from Mexico, Ukraine, Germany, and various Polish cities to showcase the diversity of creative activities. In the spirit of multiculturalism, our Exhibitors represent ecological culture, folk culture of their countries, youth culture, as well as feminist culture, understood on many levels.

A total of twenty creators will exhibit their products, ten of them each festival weekend.

On October 5 and 6, the following creators will present their works:

  • Córka Natura, a graduate of the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź, creating jewelry from dried flowers embedded in resin;
  • Don Trujillo, a married couple running a shop and art gallery in Łódź featuring works by artists – indigenous people of Mexico;
  • Powłóczyste, a Łódź inhabitant, artist creating wonderful knitted and crocheted shawls, hats, scarves, and more;
  • Matki Folki from Poznań, promoting folk art in the form of decorative spiders and other home decorations;
  • Monika Plewa ART, a graduate of the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź, a painter, illustrator, and author of dreamy worlds full of colors and magic;
  • Oro Tortuga from Łódź, creating jewelry from precious and semi-precious metals, inspired by natural shapes;
  • Remake Things from Łódź, also a graduate of the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź, a sustainable fashion creator, turning old jeans into wearable art;
  • Wolni Rysownicy, students of the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź, a young couple of graphic artists, creating works on recycled paper, such as old maps, wrapping paper, old charts, etc.;
  • Zakola Umysłu from Berlin, an artist creating analog collages, giving new life to old illustrations and photographs;
  • Pracownia Zbiory from Dobroń near Łódź, enthusiasts engaged in ceramics and creating floral compositions, eagerly sharing their knowledge through workshops organized in their studio and beyond it.

On October 12 and 13, we will host:

  • Diana Prihodovskaya graphic designer from Belarus, student of the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. She has been living and working in Poland for four years. Her favourite graphic techniques are lithography and etching.
  • Dobry Format, a graphic designer, composer, exhibition curator, and film set designer from Łódź, creating posters in the form of digital photomontages;
  • I.SEE.U, a young artist from Łódź, she draws, paints, creates yarn crafts, and embroidering;
  • Kapotka, a graduate of the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź in the department of clothing, also involved in film, she transforms old, forgotten fabrics into clothing and more;
  • LOVISH, a brand from Piotrków Trybunalski, creating natural cosmetics based on original formulas;
  • hellokostek M.Snis collab, Mariia Snisarenko (UA) – artist and cultural animator, as well as painter and graphic designer, and Maciej Kostek Kosteczka (PL) – actor, dancer, painter, craftsman. They create unique notebooks from start to finish made from recycled paper;
  • Marta Karolina Art, an author of kilim rugs woven in the form of black-and-white images;
  • OFFU, an artist from Łódź, inspired by nature, transforming fabrics and various materials into giant insects in the form of brooches or home decorations;
  • Up-Life, artist from Łódź, graphic designer, and painter, author of graphics, collages, and assemblages, as well as accessories and jewelry made from used advertising materials;
  • Yaqbashek Creators a couple of artists creating interior design elements from concrete, wood, and steel in their studio near Łódź, also making hand-crafted soy candles;
  • Zachwyty, a creator from Łódź, author of very personal analog collages, creating both large and small pieces of art, which she frames herself in old frames;
  • Zgrabna Sztuka, a creator from near Łódź, producing ceramics using traditional methods, also rooted in Japanese culture.
