Opinions

If you’re still wondering whether it’s worth joining us, here are a few words from our volunteers and interns from last year! 🙂

I remember my internship at the Festival so fondly that the next year I came back as a volunteer. Wonderful, inspiring, and committed people, a great atmosphere, and being surrounded by culture — in such conditions, even sudden challenges aren’t scary. Although the Festival is an intense time, I’m sure every culture lover will find great satisfaction in helping to create it .
– Małgorzata, intern and volunteer, student of Polish-German Studies and International Relations

I was really lucky to join the Dialogue Center during the Festival for my very first internship year. Despite the wide variety of activities we could choose from based on our interests and skills, they were all very well organized. I hope I’ll also have the chance to participate in the next edition of the Festival. – Victoria, intern, student of theater production and event management

Interning at the Łódź of Many Cultures Festival was definitely one of the best decisions of my life. On one hand, it was a required part of my studies, but on the other, it brought me a wealth of new experiences, wonderful people, and fascinating events. Even though it’s been almost a year since it ended, my heart still warms whenever I think back to that time! – Ania, intern, student of New Media and Digital Culture

I have very positive memories of my internship at the Dialogue Center. I joined a friendly and supportive team, as well as comradely interns and volunteers. I had the opportunity to see how cultural events are organized and how the team works during their implementation. I actively participated in the process, helping with preparations for exhibitions, workshops, and other attractions, as well as ensuring their smooth running. I gained many valuable skills, such as teamwork and working under time pressure. My internship supervisor, Piotr Rembowski, was very helpful and well-organized – he made sure we were always informed and felt comfortable during the internship. Communication was smooth and easy. It was a very valuable experience that will definitely benefit me in the future, and also a pleasant time spent with great people. – Monika, intern and volunteer, student of cultural studies

I have very fond memories of my internship at the Festival of Many Cultures! It gave me the chance to spend time at amazing events in a really friendly atmosphere. Even the early morning (6 a.m.) tough tasks I carried out gladly—I never felt forced, thanks to our awesome coordinator, Piotrek. – Daria, intern and volunteer, student of theater production and event management

P.S. All the statements were given voluntarily, without any pressure from me. I myself have very fond memories of last year’s edition and I’m happy to have worked with such amazing people! – Piotrek, volunteer and internship coordinator
