RUCH KU REZYLIENCJI – MOVEMENT TOWARD RESILIENCE
Well-being workshops for people working in culture
What is it about?
“Ruch ku rezyliencji” (“Movement Toward Resilience”) is a four-hour somatic workshop designed for those working in the cultural sector who wish to restore their inner resources of energy, calm, and resilience. It is a practice of embodied presence and cultivating well-being through the body—drawing on methods such as Body-Mind Centering®, polyvagal theory, and choreography as a tool for regeneration.
During the workshop, participants will work with the nervous and immune systems as dynamic networks that shape our daily responses to stress and overwhelm. Through breath, touch, and movement practices, they will learn to orient themselves in space, recognize states of freeze and mobilization, and activate processes of self-regulation.
In the second part of the session, the body will be invited into choreographic scores that translate embodied knowledge into concrete gestures and strategies for supporting well-being in the everyday realities of working in the cultural sector.
By whom?
Angelika Mizińska – somatic movement educator, choreographer, and artist working within the field of ecosomatics and regenerative practices. A certified Body-Mind Centering® practitioner, she is also a performer, curator, and activist. She co-creates projects that interweave movement, mindfulness, and reflection on ecology and social transformation.
Who is it for?
The workshop is intended for people working in culture, education, and community engagement—both in public institutions and the non-governmental sector. No prior dance or movement experience is required—just a curiosity about your own body and a need for pause, regeneration, and meaningful exchange in a safe and supportive atmosphere. Especially recommended for those experiencing professional burnout, exhaustion, loss of motivation, or emotional overwhelm.
Registration: d.dziedzinska@centrumdialogu.com. Places are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
Why is it worth it?
In the world of culture, where pressure, overwhelming workloads, and lack of support are everyday realities, resilience stops being an abstract concept and becomes a concrete, daily necessity. The “Movement Toward Resilience” workshop doesn’t offer quick fixes but provides a space for mindfulness, awareness, and regeneration—through the body, breath, and movement. Working with the body here becomes a language of care—for yourself and others. It’s not just an opportunity to rest but also a tool for building a more balanced, grounded presence in the creative and educational work world.
