YOU CAN FAIL! PORAŻKA SHOW

Performance for young people

What is it about?

‘You can fail! Failure Show’ is a comedy in the form of a talent show parody, in which the main characters are… failures. The show reverses the logic of success – instead of rewarding winners, it celebrates ‘losers’, showing how failures can become a source of strength, laughter and community. The stage will feature hosts, a jury, participants and celebrities – all with biographies in which defeat was more common than triumph.

By whom?

The performance is a joint production of Teatr Komedia and Teatr 21. The cast includes Anna Łuczak, Martyna Peszko, Maciej ‘Gąsiu’ Gośniowski, Kaśka Dudek, Anna Drózd, Grzegorz Brandt, Aleksander Orliński, Marta Stańczyk and many other actors associated with Teatr 21 and Teatr Komedia.

Justyna Sobczyk, Iga Gańczarczyk, Magdalena Łazarczyk and the creative team are responsible for directing and dramaturgy.

Who is it for?

The performance is aimed at young people aged 12/13 and adults. It may be of particular interest to those who experience a sense of ‘failure’ in their everyday lives, as well as audiences open to theatre full of laughter, distance and interaction with the audience. Due to the participation of actors from Teatr 21, the event may also be an important experience for people with disabilities and all those who value inclusive art.

Why is it worth it?

Because failure is universal – everyone experiences it, but we rarely talk about it. ‘You can fail! Failure Show’ transforms the shame and bitterness of failure into laughter, emotion and a shared experience. It is a theatrical celebration of losers, which allows us to come to terms with our imperfections and dispel the pressure to succeed. The performance shows that art can be a tool for social change, and comedy – a vehicle for empathy, openness and mutual respect.
